How to Write a Classified Ad That Work

1. The Title is the most important part of your ad. Make it interesting and attractive, and capture the reader's attention with a heading that relates to the content of your ad. Think about what words people might use to search for your products, and include these words in the headline. If you are listing real estate, it's better to list the location first. 2. Be descriptive. Give the reader clear, complete and concise information. List the best features, brand name, color, condition, size, etc. Use only standart abbreviations to avoid confusion & misinterpretations. 3. Always include the price of the item you are selling. This increases the number of people who will respond. 4. Put as much contact information into your ad as possible. If appropriate, include your city/state, and phone number. If you do not keep regular hours, list a preferred time for readers to contact you. 5. Get attention. Use enchancements, such as large type, white space, bold characters etc. to bring attention to your ad. We work hard to make the post ad process easy as much as possible.
